Black Powder Silhouette Match Schedule and Events

 The St. Charles Sportsman’s Club Black Powder Silhouette Matches are held on the first Saturday of each month. The schedule is listed as follows:

September 6, 2008
October 4, 2008

 The Match starts at 09:00 AM. Set-up time starts at 07:30 -09:00 and participants are expected to help with the set-up and removal of targets during the day’s events.

Their will be two relays participating, Muzzle Loading and Centerfire Cartridge, witch  includes Single Shot and Lever Action Cowboy Rifles using any type of powder (Black or Smokeless) with open, optic or peep sights (Lead Bullets Only). 

Muzzle Loaders can use any action, open, optic or peep sights.

Ear and Eye protection must be worn. Firearms safety rules apply and will be discussed before the Match. Participants are required to sign waiver release forms before the start of the day’s events and must be presented during registration.

New Match Rules for 2008

The muzzle loading 100 Yard Silhouette Match will be Round Ball only and still a 20 round match.

Percussion or Inline Muzzle loading Rifles that shoot conical or Sabot Lead bullets will shoot the 200 yard 40 round Centerfire match.

(If there are enough shooters in this class to make up a second string of f 6-8 shooters, this will be a 20-round match).

The Cost to enter each Relay will be $6.00 per event . Winners will receive Cash Prizes, Free shoot  pass tickets( Free Entry Fee Pass ), Ribbons or Poultry, Ham’s. The prizes are dependent on participation.
